    A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required to operate large and heavy vehicles, such as trucks and buses.
    Typically, you need to be at least 18 years old (21 for interstate driving), possess a valid driver's license, and pass a medical exam. CLP -Permit.
    The program is only for 4 weeks. However, you can graduate in as little as 3 weeks if necessary. Within these 4 weeks you will have to gain a minimum of 160 hours per state requirement.
    The type of CDL you obtain will determine the vehicles you can drive: Class A (tractor-trailers), Class B (buses and large trucks), and Class C (smaller vehicles).
